Improvisation - An original poem

Improvisation

Simple tunes carry an elegance
that averts any need
but begs to be
scintillated

After Mozart has played
a melody he repeats
it a second time,
in a different
swagger

Roses of this season
are not the same.
each has its
saunter

When beauty is repeated
as on a page of music
again and again
it loses some
shine

A drift of uniquely petaled
notes wisps off casual
melodies to make
it special
shiv
